Before you submit your manuscript, how do you make sure it’s the best it can be? Join freelance editor Jess Gately and she teaches you how to assess elements of language, grammar and punctuation in your own novel by yourself, in this workshop designed to help you in the initial stages of self-editing.
This workshop is ideal for writers who already have at least a first draft of their manuscript and are looking at progressing to the next stage, or anyone interested in improving their copy-editing. 
This workshop is part 2 of a 2-part course. It is preceded by a workshop from Jess Gately on the structural edit.

WHAT TO BRING & CATERING
A notebook and pen or note-taking device, a smartphone with access to the internet and social media apps, and either a short sample of one of your own writing/manuscript sample, or a sample from a favourite book.
You are welcome to bring your own breakfast or snacks. Tea and coffee are available for free. If you have any allergies, please let us know at info@centreforstories.com.
