Write Night_banner.jpg

Write Night is for writers who may be struggling to carve out distraction free writing time, who are looking for a safe group environment to work on their writing, or those who may simply like to meet other writers! Write Night is (usually) every second Tuesday at the Centre for Stories.

Write Night facilitates two forty minute writing blocks, distraction free, with prompts for those who need them. Writers may not always be happy with what they write during this time (and be honest, who ever really is at first) but their word count will increase!

  • 6pm – 6.15pm Warm up exercises
  • 6.20pm – 7pm  First writing block
  • 7pm –7.15pm  Dinner and discussion break (BYO food or use the time some other way — writers only participating in the second block should arrive during this time.)
  • 7.20pm – 8pm Second writing block

Please feel free to bring snacks or an evening meal to eat at the break.
Bring your own laptops or pen and paper to work on/with.
