POETRY IN CONVERSATION: LUCY DOUGAN

  • Centre for Stories 100 Aberdeen Street Northbridge, WA, 6003 Australia (map)

'Poetry In Conversation' is a chance for you to listen to some of Perth’s best poets in an interview format with Robert Wood. These sessions are designed as an introduction and exploration of how poets write, read and talk. They will feature readings of poems as well as the opportunity for you to hear about the poet’s influences, process and work. This will give you the chance to listen to the stories behind the poetry for which they are known. Come along, grab a glass of wine and settle in to hear what our best wordsmiths are up to.

The 'Poetry in Conversation' series will continue with LUCY DOUGAN.

Lucy Dougan’s books include White Clay (Giramondo), Meanderthals (Web del Sol) and The Guardians (Giramondo), and her prizes the Mary Gilmore and Alec Bolton Awards and short-listings for the 2015 Queensland Premier’s Prize for Poetry and the 2016 Victorian Premier’s Prize for Poetry.
