A flash new workshop series in Perth! Calling for new and experienced, young and old fans of flash fiction. Find out why these fun, energetic, short-short stories are increasingly popular and learn to write and edit your own.

This workshop series focuses on how to write flash fiction. Over six workshops you will produce a number of flash fiction pieces. The workshop series also includes the following:
- flash fiction: what is it?
- reading great flash fiction,
- finding inspiration for your own flash style through prompts and exercises,
- the fun business of writing,
- feedback on writing (sometimes not so fun),
- editing techniques to make your work shine,
- flash future publishing.

While we can’t guarantee your finished pieces will be published, our aim is to help bring your flash writing pieces to a publication standard.

Every second Wednesday from 6pm- 8pm at the Centre for Stories. Dates for the series are as follows:

19 September

3 October

17 October

31 October

14 November

28 November

Please note that this is a series and you cannot purchase a ticket to only one of the above dates. Please ensure that you are available for all of the above dates before purchasing as we are unable to offer refunds if you are unable to attend.
