Remember what it was like to listen to a great story? Lying in bed, sitting around a camp fire, curled up on a sofa or lazing on the beach while someone read exciting, spooky or funny stories that ignited the imagination?

Lit Live is a new way to enjoy great short stories, read to you by great storytellers.

Sharing stories is the universal way to make sense of our lives; they affirm who we are, cross time and cultural barriers, allow us to enjoy similarities and understand differences.

The first Lit Live centres around the theme of Nature and Nurture. Actors Stuart Halusz, Sarah McNeill, Alison van Reeken and Greg McNeill will read short stories about celebrating the Rubenesque figure, a moving story about motherhood, a black comedy about a deadly affair and a funny story inspired by the oldest comic line in the book: A guy walks into a bar...

Tickets also available at the door.

Please note that concession ticket holders are required to present a valid concession card upon entry and may be refused access to the event if they fail to do so.
