Ms Doogs is a workshop-meets-discussion #safespace for Doogs punters to discuss gendered experiences at music festivals and in the arts industry hosting by Claudia Mancini (Centre for Stories), Rok Riley (RTRFM), Jennifer Aslett (Boat Show), and Mei Saraswati. If you're attending Camp Doogs like us, join us at 10:30am on Saturday the 7th of October on the 'Mild Doogs' stage.
Come with your own story/festival experience in mind to share! Those stories could be about anything (e.g. hygiene, camping, meeting people, dancing/moshing, picking
up/making out/sex). How do you think those- experiences were/are gendered?
Please note that this workshop will be focussed on women and although everybody is welcome, we encourage participation primarily from those who identify as women to share their experiences in an empowering, safe and collaborative space. We ask all others who want to join to take part in solidarity but as passive listeners/observers/supporters.
Compulsory: open ears and an open mind :)
