Write Out is a free creative writing workshop which provides an opportunity and platform for young people to explore writing not only as an outlet for their emotions but as an escape from their realities. Each workshop is designed to address three components of the writing process:
- Sustaining a creative process in writing.
- Listening and giving constructive criticism.
- Learning from analytical consideration of published texts.
This first workshop will cater specifically to youth aged 16 to 22.
Write Out host ALICIA TUCKERMAN is a YA author with her debut novel set for release in 2018 with Pantera Press. Alicia attributes surviving her teenage years to the comfort, release, and escape offered by writing and she hopes to encourage the next generation of readers and writers to bravely embrace their passions.
