When The Words Speak: Workshop with Manveen Kohli
Are there stories begging to be written but you can’t find the words? Have your recent experiences turned into new material for a poem? Is writers block making it difficult to practice self-compassion while creating?
When the Words Speak is an opportunity for you to tap into your emotions while engaging in writing that evokes vulnerability and authenticity. There are no prerequisites to attending; you can be early career writer, an established poet, or someone who just wants to explore your imaginative side. This is a safe and non-judgmental space where your voice is important. We will explore a range of poetic techniques, engage in writing prompts, and participate in group exercises. There will also be opportunities to share your words with the group and seek feedback from other creatives. We will be focusing on various forms of writing: poetry, prose, and short stories.
