Bright Lights, No City
Bright Lights No City, was a project documenting LGBTQIA+ youth from country WA. A series of nine stories, five oral stories and four written stories, have been thoughtfully crafted with the help of Oral Storytelling Trainer, Sisonke Msimang, and Writing Expert, Susan Midalia.
On the 17th May 2018, the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, six storytellers shared their stories in an intimate and relaxed setting at the Centre for Stories. All nine stories are available here, on the Centre for Stories website, for you to read, listen and reflect on.
The success of this project was possible thanks to the support of the Community Arts Network WA.
